Union Bank
After successfully completing several previous projects with Union Bank, the client retained EHD to design their first bank building in Chittenden County in the Town of Williston, Vermont. The bank was also the first commercial building in the new Finney Crossing development.
The building is a 9,400 square foot, two story, steel framed structure with brick and masonry veneer in a formal but contemporary style. Bold cast stone cornices and trims provide an elegant appearance from the street. There are several walkways from the various street and sidewalk travel lanes. These connect to the building via a covered walk way that wraps around the building and leads to tenant and bank entrances.
The lower floor includes a lobby, modest tenant space and a spacious branch bank. The interior of the branch is detailed with art glass panels at the teller stations, aluminum and glass office fronts and locally sourced Verde marble. The facility also includes a two lane drive through teller and ATM. The upper floor includes offices for bank operations, loan and asset management as well as an employee breakroom, conference room and a small street-facing balcony. Both floors incorporate contemporary high efficiency light fixtures that provide a comfortable atmosphere for working.
