Mark E. Wheeler, AIA (Associate Member)
Senior Project Manager
Mark has been with the firm since 1987 and is our Senior Project Manager.
With over 20 years of experience in the field of architecture, Mark brings
a vast wealth of knowledge and experience to each project. Mark is responsible
for all aspects of project development from design to occupancy and has
managed some of our largest and smallest projects, both with equal professionalism
and skill. Some of the projects he has overseen include the 2.5 million
dollar Millers Run School and renovations to several homes in our
area.
Mark has an Architectural/Engineering degree from Vermont Technical College
and is currently preparing to take the architectural licensing exam.

ST. JOHNSBURY, VT
As a Senior Project Manager, reports directly to the Principal. Responsibilities
include supervision of technical staff and management of all project
phases, beginning with the programmatic/conceptual design phase and
ending with occupancy. Other responsibilities include providing marketing
support to the Principal, reviewing building code compliance, checking
construction detailing/technical specifications, and providing design
support for projects with commercial kitchens. Projects completed to
date are many and vary greatly in type and size, ranging from small
and medium sized residential projects to commercial, industrial, institutional,
healthcare facilities, and a $2.5M elementary school addition/renovation.

BARNHART JOHNSON FRANCIS and WILD, INC. ENGINEERS
AVON, CT
Served as architectural/structural designer for industrial buildings,
including additions and renovations. Responsibilities included participating
in all project phases, including the preparation of construction cost
estimates and conducting inspections in the field.

FRIENDLY ICE CREAM CORPORATION
WILBRAHAM, MA
Served as designer/draftsperson within the Design and Engineering Department.
Responsibilities included all project phases, the design/coordination
of commercial kitchen equipment and fixture/furnishings setups, and
coordination of all mechanical/plumbing systems. Additional responsibilities
included the design of mall storefronts and acting as a construction
liaison.
