Indoor Recreation of Orleans County Derby, Vermont Indoor Recreation of Orleans County (IROC) began its infancy as an Ice Hockey Rink. Since beginning work, the project has grown to accommodate the diverse needs of the community. The current design includes a multi-sport arena for roller hockey, indoor soccer, basketball, indoor walking track and tennis. In addition to the multi-sport arena, there is a competition swimming pool designed in conjunction with the local health care facilities to assist with therapy and rehabilitation. A fitness center, snack bar, technology center and community room round out this extensive facility. Over an acre in size, IROC will provide much needed opportunities for activity and community support. Back to Projects  |
