Belvidere School Belvidere Center, Vermont How do you fit a 12,000 square foot building program as required by the Department of Education, into an 8,000 square foot structure and still receive all approvals necessary to secure the State Aid to Education? This was accomplished on this budget-driven project by reducing the gross square foot ratios from the industry standard of 1.4% to 1.15%, coupled with utilizing other innovative multi-use space-saving concepts. This K-6 elementary school also functions as a facility to conduct community meetings and receptions, along with serving the needs of various community clubs and organizations. Back to Projects  |
